prof. dr. Susan Neiman

Susan Neiman is Director of the Einstein Forum. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Neiman studied philosophy at Harvard and the Freie Universität Berlin, and was professor of philosophy at Yale and Tel Aviv University. She is the author of numerous books, including "The Unity of Reason: Rereading Kant, Evil in Modern Thought", "Moral Clarity: A Guide for Grown-up Idealists" and "Why Grow Up?". In 2019 she will give her first winterschool (a weekend course) for the Centre Erasme foundation. The theme for the course is “Defending the Enlightenment” and will take place in the Old Abbey of Drongen (Belgium). We are very proud to have Susan with us in our first course which will be taught in English entirely.
